Andrei Protsouk was born in Ukraine in 1961. He showed an innate creative ability at the age of six, which his parents encouraged.
Following high school, Andrei attended the exceptional Lugansk State School of Fine Art and graduated in 1981. Following graduation, Andrei pursued his Masters Degree in Fine Art at the Imperial Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg). This programme is regarded as one of the most prestigious classical MFA training programmes in the world, having transcended from the European Baroque Masters of the 18th Century.
Andrei was taught under the revered master artist Evsey Moiseenko. Moiseenko was friends with other master artists including Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, and Robert Rauschenberg.

Protsouk moved with his family to the USA in 1994, just 2 months shortfall of his PhD examinations. Since establishing himself in the United States, Andrei has exhibited in galleries across the world.
Andrei has coined his technique of embedding straight, constructive line into all of his artwork as “Fine Line.” He is considered a Master of Composition with his unique and captivating paintings.
The language in his paintings can be seen as a continuous folly between his inner Eastern roots and Western life. The soul of Andrei’s artwork is his infatuation with human relationships, love and beauty; the artist believes that “the universal language in the world is love”.
Today Andrei lives in Pennsylvania where he has his own studio and lives with his family. His work is collected by corporate clients such as: Coca-Cola, Johnny Walker Expo Co and Imperial Cosmetics, as well as private collectors including former President George W. Bush. His art is represented globally in Europe, New Zealand, Japan and the USA.
“Everything in the universe is unique. My job is to illuminate that, not to bury it in artistic clichés.”
