'Bird's Boat' by Emma Brownjohn Limited Edition Giclée on Paper
‘Bird’s Boat’ by Emma Brownjohn is a framed, giclée on paper from a limited edition run of 75.
Emma encapsulates all the joy of the seaside in this vibrant depiction of a busy day at the beach
“It is in honour of my mother as her name is Bird. It was painted with Lyme Regis in mind but I like some beach scenes to be fairly generic so that the viewer can be reminded of their day at their own beach”.
Emma Brownjohn, illustrator-turned-painter, has a deft use of colour and harmonious composition. She finds inspiration in personal experiences, whether a line of a poem or a glimpse of a fluorescent jacket in a grey city. Beautiful and charming, the works capture fleeting moments in time.
