Heinz 57 by David Foster has been painstakingly created using 22,457 nails – each one has been individually hammered into wood.
Heinz 57 in Nails is incredibly impactive, unique and tactile and must be viewed in person to be fully appreciated.
Based in the borough of St Helens, David Foster’s break came after winning the Warrington Contemporary Art Competition in 2012 with “Lashes and Nails”, the prize being to hold his first solo exhibition “Nailed It” in 2013.”
Since this time, David Foster has had successful solo exhibitions in galleries across the UK. Having completed many personal and business commissions, some of Foster’s clients and collectors include Nissan USA, SKY Sports, Carraghers New York, Hotel TIA Liverpool, Steven Gerrard and Freddie Flintoff.
Today, Foster focuses many of his pieces on some of the world’s most loved iconic faces.
