Jane’s work has evolved through her ‘personal investigation into the allure of natural form, real and imagined, obvious and ambiguous’.

Jane is currently working with realistic figure charcoals and portraits, ranging from descriptive to the surreal, using these to create a duality of readings within her work.  In her current pieces she has developed a completely unique and unusual hybrid drawing which relies on the viewer’s responses to fragility, vulnerability, beauty and of course the capacity to look beyond initial perceptions.

These delicate pieces are each individually cut and hand coloured by the artist.
